Generation is an independent non-profit founded in 2014 by McKinsey & Company to help bridge the education to employment gap – at speed and scale. We have trained and graduated 70,000+ people into careers across 17 countries with diverse social, economic and labor-market contexts. Our effort in Hong Kong covers 6 training programs in 3 future-oriented industries since 2018. Over 600 learners have been trained from around 40 cohorts. And the employment rate of our learners after graduation is close to 90%.

Senior Marketing Officer – Content Marketing

Job Overview
The Senior Marketing Officer – Content Marketing, will be responsible for the overall marketing and communication strategy and execution in Generation Hong Kong for beneficiaries of, but not limited to, youth development projects including Special Education Needs (SEN) youth, under the guidance of the management.

To be successful you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field of study.
  • Minimum 2 years of content or digital marketing experience, experience working within the education sector will be a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience in integrated marketing, especially in digital marketing and social media.
  • Experience in running marketing campaigns and using digital platforms and campaign management tools.
  • Strong project management skills – ability to handle the complexities of working with cross- functional teams and key stakeholders.
  • Responsible to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support marketing execution and content creation as needed.
  • Entrepreneurial, resilient, innovative, growth and performance-driven mindsets required.


What you'll do:

  • Support the development and execution of marcom strategies to achieve defined objectives, drive brand and program affiliation, as well as overall organisational performance.
  • Leverage industries and consumer insights to develop social content, marketing and communication campaigns and promotions to achieve KPI targets.
  • Partner with external digital and creative agencies to create and execute effective integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Drive performance and improvement on all paid and owned media / platforms.
  • Evaluate, maintain and enhance website, platform and portal integration and experience.
  • Coordinate between funders, partners, agencies, internal program and management teams.
  • Conduct post-campaign reviews and be responsible for regular reporting of campaign performance, learnings and optimization recommendations with relevant stakeholders.
  • Propose creative ideas and test new approaches as guided by commercial and marketing objectives.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Senior Management.
