Emergency updates

Hurricane Florence

We’re closely monitoring Hurricane Florence (now Tropical Depression).  The storm will continue to bring potential winds, flash floods, and rainfall hazards to the Carolinas and potentially other areas in the southeast.

Please know, our first priority as an organization and as teammates is to ensure everyone’s safety.

In Charlotte: Classes are canceled on Monday, September 17. Classes will resume Tuesday, September 18.

We’re committed to the safety of our students and staff and will continue to monitor Hurricane Florence and its after-effects, and will make decisions about further cancellations and closings as information becomes available and update the community via the website, by email, social media channels, and our telephone hotline.

To our teams in the path of the storm: please let us know if there is anything you need beyond the information we’re providing here. As our core values say, we are better together. Please do not hesitate to ask for whatever you need.

Need a question answered during the storm? Be sure to reach out to us or find more information on one of these channels.
