Laura Moodey


Laura has over 20 years of experience working in the social sector, beginning as an elementary school teacher in New York City. Previously, she was a co-founder of Fundación IDEA, one of the first organizations in Mexico dedicated to independent public policy analysis. She joined Generation after a decade leading teams at Teach For America, the largest education non-profit in the United States, where she focused on teacher training, organizational development, leadership development, and talent management.

Laura is a graduate of Rice University and holds a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University.
