Europe Impact Report 2025 – 2026
Generation’s latest Europe Impact Report looks at how graduates progress after completing their training, focusing on employment, income, and wellbeing over time. Across Europe, results show that graduates remain active in the labour market and continue to build more stable careers in the years following graduation.
Sustained employment and progression
Most learners join Generation unemployed. Within three to six months of completing a programme, 76% are placed into jobs. This continues over time: two to five years after graduation, 83% of alumni are in paid work, with many moving into more advanced roles and positions related to their training.
Graduates also see early income growth, with earnings increasing between 1.3x and 3.8x within 12-18 months, depending on the programme and country. In addition, over five years, every US dollar invested generates $9-18 in additional income compared to our graduates’ baseline earnings.
Financial stability and wellbeing
Longer-term outcomes point to steady improvements in financial security. Among alumni tracked two to five years after graduation:
- 84% of employed alumni earn above a living wage
- 89% can meet their daily financial needs
- 59% are able to save money
Graduates also report strong levels of confidence and wellbeing, with most feeling able to plan their future and continue progressing in their careers.
Scale across Europe
Since launch, Generation has expanded its reach across five European countries:
- 23,000+ graduates trained
- 17,500+ job placements
- Presence in 83 cities
- Partnerships with 4,000 employers
Focus on outcomes over time
The findings show consistent employment, income progression, and improving financial security over several years.
Generation will continue to work with employers, funders, and public institutions to support pathways into employment and to strengthen education‑to‑employment systems with a clearer focus on long‑term results.
