Gloria Arlini brings nearly 20 years of social impact leadership in the public, private and people sector across Asia.
Prior to joining Generation Singapore in July 2023, she served at various national-level organisations in Singapore, including as futurist and strategist at the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre, and a pioneering team member at SG Her Empowerment to set up Singapore’s first one-stop support centre for victims of gender-based online harm.
She was also the co-founder of Chapter W, an award-winning social enterprise empowering Indonesian rural women through technology and entrepreneurship, which earned her the Young Social Entrepreneur award at Asia Pacific Cities Summit in 2013.
A keen social researcher and advocate, Gloria was a 3-time recipient of the Wings of Excellence Award from St Gallen Symposium and is part of the Symposium’s Leaders of Tomorrow—the most promising young global leaders in politics, research, and civil society.
She held stints in various organisations including International Organization for Migration (Indonesia), and Kitakyushu Forum for Asian Women (Japan), and WWF (Singapore).
She holds a B.Soc.Sci. (2nd Upp Hons) and M.Soc.Sci. in Sociology from the National University of Singapore.
