Position overview

We are seeking a full-time/part-time Marketing & Communications for Social Impact Officer (MarComm for Social Impact), preferably based out of Bangkok, to join a fast-paced, collaborative team dedicated to creating social impact for inclusive recruitment practices in Thailand.

The MarComm for Social Impact plays a vital role, reporting to the CEO to deliver engaging public relations and marketing initiatives to drive impact and influence of the Generation’s work. You will be responsible for implementing our marketing and communications activities on several different fronts through a variety of channels including website, social media and events, in line with our communications strategy.

This position is open for Thailand Citizens only.

  • Type of employment: Full-time or part-time employment position for 1-year (with possibility of extension, subject to funding).
  • Working Environment: This position is based in Bangkok, Thailand. Working arrangement is flexible (able to visit the office at least twice a week).
  • Start Date: As soon as possible

To be successful you’ll need:

You are driven by our mission and you are passionate about creating social impact through marketing and communications content, activities and partnership. Candidates for this role would be expected to possess the following experience and qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of Communications and Marketing experience in an nonprofit/educational sector/business management/ project management/ Public Relations / charity projects.
  • Enthusiastic about youth employment initiatives and motivated to support first-time-job-seekers to kick start their self-discovery and career journey through professional bootcamp program.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Thai, with an ability to find, analyze, and synthesize complex information to produce clear and effective written documents both.
  • Experience in managing the social media presence of an organization, including managing comments, scheduling, monitoring and evaluating activity (including on Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and LinkedIn).
  • Experience in event planning and management (i.e. press conferences, workshops, webinars, and etc.).
  • Keen to build and manage relationships across organizations and with other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to cope with a varied workload, priorities, and work to deadlines.
  • A growth mindset, self-reflective, and open to frequent feedback from multiple stakeholders.
  • Integrity, a positive attitude, and a mission-driven approach with a demonstrated passion for our organization’s mission and commitment to collaborative teamwork.

What you’ll do:

The role will support executing all Public Relations and Marketing initiatives in relation to advocating inclusive recruitment practices and traineeship models, including but not limited to following:

Communication

  • Execute all Marketing and Communication initiatives regarding skill-based hiring and employment to maximize coverage, awareness, and level of appeal in all strategic channels and platforms.
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders including project funders, institutional partners, media, photographers, videographers, and editors. briefing them on assignments and ensuring that work is delivered by deadlines.
  • Act as a focal point (organization’s admin) for social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok) and Website in ensuring user-friendly, that any technical issues are addressed and solved, and responding to queries when needed.
  • Use Generation’s CRM platform to improve our potential learner experience, and work closely with the global marketing communications team.
  • Collect and analyze data and statistics for monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on progress and success.
  • Act as a focal point for review and implementation of organization branding’s guideline and communications global policies to the country team.

Digital Marketing

  • Develop, implement and budget for marketing campaigns across printing media and social media platforms.
  • Monitor the brand reputation and discussions relating to the organization in media space while being able to respond to audiences on time.
  • Provide tracking, evaluation, and reporting on all major campaigns.
  • Support colleagues across Generation Thailand to develop and deliver the digital elements of multichannel campaigns, making recommendations on both organic and paid activity.

External Partner Management, Events and Public Relations

  • Plan and lead marketing-related event logistics (both virtual and in-person) including setting up the event page, recommending appropriate venues, webinar support on digital platforms, event promotion, note-taking, registering attendees, and updating campaigns.
  • Establish contacts with media and writes media releases and success stories.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with country, and locally-based media and digital influencers.
