Global Director of Learner Engagement
Katherine Kelley is the Global Director of Learner Engagement for Generation and is based in Washington, D.C. In her role, Kat supports Generation’s country teams in attracting, selecting, preparing and supporting learners to thrive during and after the Generation program. Prior to Generation, Kat worked as a management consultant for McKinsey & Company’s public and social sector practices advising government agencies, foundations and non-profit institutions on strategic planning, improving citizen experience, and organizational design and transformation. Kat started her career teaching secondary school in Washington, D.C. through Teach for America and in Seoul, South Korea.
Kat has a B.A. from Duke University, a Masters in Teaching from American University, and a Masters in Business Administration and a Masters in Education (Innovation in Education Reform) from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and Curry School of Education.
