You’ll explore a variety of AI tools, building the mindset to confidently use them in your daily role(s) and adapt to the ever-changing AI landscape. Once complete, you’ll earn a digital certification and gain access to an AI Toolkit filled with practical tips for using AI tools in both your personal and professional life.

The details:

• Flexible, online training: This course is designed for flexibility, allowing you to dive into the world of AI at your own convenience. You will navigate through structured modules, ranging from foundational account setups to deep-dive drills, and combining practical application with reflective peer discussions. Expect to commit 1-2 hours per week over 8 weeks. 
• A multi-tool approach: Rather than focusing on a single platform, you’ll gain exposure to a diverse ecosystem of AI tools including ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, and TextCortex. This ensures you build the agility to adapt as the technology evolves, rather than being tied to one specific interface.
• Engaging multimedia introductions & recaps: To help you hit the ground running and reinforce what you’ve learned, we’ve included AI-generated videos and podcasts. These resources provide clear introductions to new topics and concise recaps of key sessions, making it easier to absorb information on the go. Upon completion, you’ll walk away with a dedicated AI Toolkit: a curated set of practical tips and techniques for your professional life.

We are looking for motivated learners who want to bridge the gap between “AI curiosity” and “AI competency” in a customer-facing environment. You don’t need a technical background – just a willingness to experiment and a commitment to your professional growth.

What skills will you learn?

We’ll help you master both the technical foundations and the practical mindset needed to thrive in an AI-enhanced workplace. Through hands-on, interactive activities, you will progress through core topics such as:

• Experiencing AI in the customer service role/tasks
• Effective prompt engineering
• Critical evaluation & bias detection
• Practice personal responsibility

AI fluency is embedded throughout each session. You will work directly with tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, and TextCortex to help you use AI strategically across the many situations facing small business owners today.

Learner Commitment

This session is designed to be flexible and manageable alongside your existing responsibilities.

The total learning time is approximately 12 hours, which you can complete at your own pace.

You’ll have 8 weeks from your start date to finish the session and meet the requirements for certification.
