Mat Constantine

Mat Constantine is the Director of Online Learning. In this role he works closely with Curriculum & Instruction leadership to develop Generation’s online and blended strategy globally.

He leads the pursuit of learning journeys that are engaging and motivate learners, with the goal of increasing retention and completion rates across programs. Mat is particularly passionate about the EdTech sector and bringing creative solutions to teaching and learning challenges.

Mat has over 15 years’ experience in the online learning space. He began his career as an instructional designer in the higher education sector, creating simulations and interactive resources, before occupying senior management positions and leading teams in the development and implementation of online programs.

He holds a B.A. (Hons) in Business Economics from the University of Leicester (England) and an MBA from IE Business School (Spain).

Juliano Allegrini

Juliano is Global Head of Marketing at Generation. He has over 20 years of international experience working with local & global brands on digital, strategic marketing, and demand generation. Juliano drove business growth, implemented processes, delivered programs, and developed people. His experience spans various sectors including automotive at Citroen, consumer goods at LG Electronics and computer software at SolarWinds. He has also previously owned a marketing consultancy and has worked in sales and technical roles such as account management and systems engineer.

He worked with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, building relationships to understand and set objectives that brought everyone together and impacted growth and brand alike by delivering against bold objectives through effective and smart processes.

Juliano has a B.A. from EAESP-FGV (Brazil) and an M.B.A from ESPM (Brazil). He holds dual Italian and Brazilian citizenship.

Minh Huy Lai

Minh is the Regional COO of Generation in Europe based in Paris. Prior to Generation, Minh was the Managing Director of the INSEAD MBA Programme. Minh has over 20 years of experience in various sectors including investment banking at JP Morgan, development finance at the World Bank and consulting at PlaNet Finance Advisory prior to joining the higher education sector.

Minh holds a MBA in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University and an Executive Coaching Certificate at INSEAD.

Gabriela Paranhos

Gabriela is Generation’s regional COO for LatAm. Based in Rio de Janeiro, she supports our existing operations and leads our growth efforts in the region. Gabriela has 12+ years of experience in new ventures, business development, project management, strategy design and corporate finance.

Prior to Generation, Gabriela was an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company for Public and Social Sector and Consumer practices and a partner at Argucia Capital Management, a Brazilian investment advisory firm.

Gabriela holds an M.B.A. from INSEAD and a B.S. in Production Engineering from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.

Jeremy Fox

Jeremy Fox is the regional CEO of Generation in Asia-Pacific, where he is a proven leader in cross-cultural environments with almost 20 years working experience in the region. Working for over 10 years at McKinsey & Company, he has extensive functional experience in strategy, operations, organizational development, HR/talent management, leadership development, and large-scale transformations with both Fortune 500 companies and SMEs, across a wide range of industries. Jeremy also founded and ran a multi-disciplinary research and advisory think-tank for health policy challenges in Asia with the National University of Singapore and Singapore Ministry of Health. He is a founding director of the Variety Children’s Charity of Singapore, a board member for the Centre for Global Health at Massachusetts General Hospital, and holds several other management and advisory board positions.

Jeremy earned a B.S. in Genetics and Development from Cornell University (New York) and a Ph.D. in Genetics from Harvard Medical School (Massachusetts).

Bonni Theriault

Bonni Theriault is the Chief Partnerships Officer for Generation and is based in Boston, MA. In this role, she develops multinational collaborations with donors and corporates and leads a multimillion dollar portfolio of partnerships, which together support Generation’s global work and programs in 17 countries. She previously served as Generation’s Global Director of Employer Engagement supporting Generation’s country teams in building and sustaining strong relationships with employer partners.

Prior to Generation, Bonni spent much of her career at McKinsey, as a management consultant and Professional Development manager. In addition to her work at McKinsey, Bonni served as the Marketing Director for Global Emergency Care, a non-profit global health organization dedicated to making lifesaving medical care available to all Ugandans. She also co-founded and was managing partner of Brand Power Partners, a marketing consulting firm specializing in brand strategy.

Bonni has a B.A. from Harvard and an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Kat Kelley

Katherine Kelley is the Global Director of Learner Engagement for Generation and is based in Washington, D.C. Kat has been with Generation since 2018 and leads the Learner Engagement team that supports Generation’s affiliates in attracting, selecting, preparing and supporting learners to thrive during and after the Generation program. Prior to Generation, Kat worked as a management consultant for McKinsey & Company’s public and social sector practices. Kat started her career teaching secondary school in Washington, D.C. through Teach for America and in Seoul, South Korea.

Kat has a B.A. from Duke University, a Masters in Teaching from American University, and a MBA & M.Ed (Innovation in Education Reform) from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and Curry School of Education.

Patrick Morton

Patrick Morton is the Regional COO for South Asia, Middle East, and Africa at Generation, supporting our existing operations and leading our growth efforts in the region.

Patrick joined Generation in 2017, and previously held the role of Deputy COO, in which he supported the launch and set-up of many of Generation’s country expansions. He was also the former Country Manager for the Kenya program. Before joining Generation, Patrick was a member of the Public and Social Sector hub in McKinsey & Co.’s Nairobi office, where he supported strategy design and project management for various national governments and foundations in East and West Africa.

Patrick has a B.A. from Princeton University.

Alma Merino Cedeno

Alma Angela Merino is Global Director of Digital at Generation. Alma Angela has over 15 years of experience as a consultant for digital customer experience and market research in the fields of e-government, e-commerce, bankingm and telecommunication industries in Mexico. Prior to Generation, she worked as COO for Vetta, a startup technology builder in LATAM, and Business Model Designer for startups in Mexico in InnoHub, a venture builder.

She is PhD Candidate in Strategic Communications and Marketing at Universidad Anáhuac México Norte and has a Marketing Master’s Degree. Her studies are focused on the concept of Fandomics, the influence of fandoms in the digital world, virtual community integrations, and their effects in software interfaces. She is a faculty member for bachelor’s and master’s programs at her Alma Mater.

Guli Ruzmetova

Guli Ruzmetova serves as Chief Financial Officer, leading financial operations of Generation’s home office in Washington D.C. and country affiliates globally. She has been with Generation since 2018. She brings 20+ years of experience in a variety of senior finance roles. Guli began her career in finance in Uzbekistan. Prior to Generation, she worked with International non-profits like IREX, FHI (former AED), and Winrock International.

Guli holds a degree in accounting and auditing from Tashkent Finance Institute and Master’s in International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. She is fluent in Russian, Uzbek, and proficient in Turkish.
